Dr. Zhaobo Li holds a license as an acupuncturist granted by the State of Maryland. He obtained his education in both Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in Acupuncture and Massage, and Western Medicine, with a focus on Sports Medicine, from Beijing University Medical School in China. Further advancing his expertise, Dr. Li underwent fellowship training in neuromuscular diseases at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

An integral figure, Dr. Li serves as a health consultant for Voice of America (VOA), a prominent US broadcasting entity encompassing radio, television, and internet broadcasts, reaching a vast global audience of 123 million individuals. Notably, he maintains active memberships in respected organizations such as the National Association of Chinese Medicine, the Chinese Association of TCM, the Maryland Acupuncture Society, and The Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Association.

With 45 years of dedicated practice in Acupuncture and Sports Medicine, Dr. Li’s accomplishments include receiving a national award as an Outstanding Scholar in Sports Medicine, bestowed by the China State Physical Culture and Sport Commission. He has contributed significantly to medical research, authoring 46 research papers in both Chinese and English, published within peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Having amassed over a decade of experience in acupuncture and the treatment of neuromuscular diseases, Dr. Li has devised innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for an array of chronic conditions. His methodology harmoniously integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine with contemporary medical science. Dr. Li employs alternative therapeutic strategies tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring optimal results for various health concerns.

Dr. Li’s paramount objective centers around furnishing the highest caliber of healthcare to his patients, ultimately guiding them towards achieving an optimal state of both mental and physical well-being.
